![]() While MercurySteam’s art direction is faultless here, visuals don’t really push the Switch hardware much, which could explain how well the game runs on Yuzu and Ryujinx. As a side-scroller, it’s more of a direct continuation to the original Metroid games on the NES and SNES. In terms of compatibility and performance, Yuzu and its competitor Ryujinx are now at a point today where flagship titles like Metroid Dread run at a locked 4K/60 FPS mere days after the official launch on Switch. ![]() ![]() The Yuzu emulator on PC has come very far over the past couple years of development.
